Boston College won the 2012 NCAA hockey championship tonight by defeating Ferris State 4-1 to capture their fifth title in school history, and third in the last five seasons. Steven Whitney led the way with two goals, the first and last scores, while Paul Carey notched the game-winner. Parker Milner made 27 saves for the victorious Eagles.
