Jarome Iginla scores 500th career NHL goal (VIDEO)

Jarome Iginla has been the driving force for the Calgary Flames for 15 seasons now, and he’s on pace for his 11th(!) consecutive 30-goal season. Tonight in Calgary, he added yet another milestone achievement to his incredible NHL career by scoring his 500th regular season goal, a feat which will add to his status as one of the elite power forwards in NHL history. He becomes just the 42nd player in NHL history to reach the 500-goal mark, and only the 15th to score them all with one team.

You can bet that Jarome Iginla-autographed memorabilia like signed pucks, photos or jerseys will enjoy a nice long-term boost in value as Calgary’s captain still has plenty of gas left in the tank, and has a chance to climb into the Top 20 of the NHL’s All-Time goal-scoring list over the next few seasons. By then, of course, the Hall of Fame induction will be a foregone conclusion!
