Marian Hossa has been to four NHL All-Star Games, hit the 100-point mark in a season, and won a Stanley Cup championship in 2010 with the Chicago Blackhawks. Tonight against the New York Islanders, however, Hossa added another milestone to his NHL career, by scoring his 400th career goal, becoming just the 85th player in NHL history to accomplish that feat, in this, his 925th regular season game.
At the pace he’s going, by the end of this season he has a shot at hit 500 career assists and 900 career points (needing 44 to hit both). He has 53 games remaining to hit those marks. But tonight is about congratulating Marian Hossa for this major achievement.
