Alex Ovechkin’s CCM Skates for Winter Classic unveiled

CNBC’s Darren Rovell just posted a sneak preview of some special CCM hockey skates which Alexander Ovechkin will use in the upcoming NHL Winter Classic, and I have to say they look pretty darned sharp:
He also said that CCM plans to put these on sale beginning in March. So what do you think? I remember when Sergei Fedorov started wearing all-white Nike skates back in the 1990′s, many fans thought they were too flashy. These takes the color and styling a bit further, but frankly, I think they look great.
