Top 10 Best-Selling NHL jerseys of the 2011-2012 season

#7 – Tim Thomas, Boston Bruins

Is there any better story in the NHL over the last several years than the improbable rise of Tim Thomas into the elite goaltending ranks? Drafted in the 9th round by Quebec(!) back in 1994, Thomas didn’t even make his NHL debut until the age of 28, long after many players have given up hope of making it to the big stage. Over time, however, his fierce competitiveness and unconventional technique delivered the results, and by the time he hit his mid-30’s, Thomas was just hitting his stride. A Vezina Trophy as the NHL’s top goaltender came at age 35 two years ago, and this spring he picked up another Vezina, a Conn Smythe trophy as playoff MVP, and of course the 2011 Stanley Cup. At the rate he’s going, he might keep it up for a few more years, too!

Does this include Canadian sales? or is it just US sales? (it would suprise me to see no Canadian players in the top 10 if it includes canada.

  2. It’s Brad Richards, not Mike.
