To help celebrate the start of the 2011-2012 Regular Season, the Nashville Predators have declared a “Preds Pride Day” for Friday, October 6, when the Preds open up their 13th NHL campaign with a game at Columbus.
The following excerpt comes from the team’s press release:
It’s almost time to drop the puck for another season of Nashville Predators hockey in Smashville! With Nashville kicking off the season on the road with back-to-back games against a pair Central Division foes – taking on Columbus tomorrow night (6 p.m. on FOX Sports Tennessee) and St. Louis on Saturday (7 p.m. on FOX Sports Tennessee) – the Preds are calling on all residents of Smashville to show their support for Preds Pride Day by donning their favorite Predswear. Welcome are gold jerseys, hats, t-shirts, buttons, signs and even face paint– nothing is off limits in Smashville.
